General Sales Manager - Client Relationships Builder - Fearless Competitor
Leading internet advertising solution in the property management vertical!
Lead the targeted revenue strategy and own the P/L.
For Rent Media Solutions (www.forrent.com), the leading apartment advertising source serving the multi-family industry, is seeking a General Sales Manager in our profitable Baltimore operation. The candidate selected for this challenging opportunity will lead a team of professionals involved in Sales, Customer Service and Product Management. The GSM is expected to continuously improve overall business performance, and develop your staff for advancement within our company. This is a profitable business but a highly competitive market.
The candidate for this role can demonstrate experience leading their sales teams to #1 rankings in the face of tough competition.
General areas of responsibility will include:
• Develop and implement sales growth strategies, for both current and new customers
• Utilize Sales, Product Management and Customer Service staff to achieve business goals
• Work closely with staff and customers to enhance our robust online and print product offering
• Manage Operations to insure that revenue growth is tied to increased profit and market share
QUALIFICATIONS WILL INCLUDE: Pattern of success in: • Outside - B2B sales - Staff management and leadership - Market and customer development - Product and/or project management - Recruitment and personnel development • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years experience in management • Apartment Industry (sales into multifamily industry) experience preferred • Technology and dot-com business industry experience preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Deadline-driven and detail oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement Dominion Enterprises (www.dominionenterprises.com) is the nation's leading publisher of specialty classified advertising publications such as For Rent, Harmon Homes and The Employment Guide.
